What does the future of Social Media look like to your company?

Social Media is something that we must grab hold onto and at the same time ensure that it works for our companies.
It’s not about you pushing your message out there to everyone and anyone nor is it about to be on EVERY single platform available to you.
It’s simply about having a conversation, telling a story and engaging with people you may have never met before or people you have already done business with.
Social Media is not about technology but about psychology and how the end user wants to interact with you if at all. Technology will change, platforms will come and go, devices will be bought, sold and new ones released every year. The things that stay the same are you as the business and the end user and their requirements.
If you haven’t yet used social media as one of your marketing pillars yet, you should really look into how it has changed the way businesses now marketing themselves to others.

If you are currently using Social Media but don’t think you are getting out to the right people, haven’t made new or genuine contacts or want to do more business; you need to think about HOW you will be using Social Media in the future.
Social is a great way to connect with people but as previously mentioned it’s not to push out information to everyone telling them that you’re great. That all good and well but if THEIR friends can tell them you are great it would work even better. So what you need to be doing is getting social with people you have done business with before and see who they are connected with and how they do business and building upon those relationships.
Working with other businesses who have the same audience as you but do not do what you do is a perfect way to build up engagement.
