Business owners and employees in Shropshire have the chance to brush up on their presentation skills at a training course in the county town next month.

A Presentation Skills Training workshop will be held at the Caradoc conference centre in Shrewsbury on March 8 from 9.30am to 1pm.

The session is designed for individuals who need to make professional presentations to groups, particularly with the focus on achieving specific actions as a result.

Elizabeth Martial, of Caradoc Medical Services, who are running the course, said: “Our trainer will look at what gives people confidence in presenting; about helping them learn how to control an event and having a plan that they can enact to bring about the outcome they wish to achieve.

“This course will enable attendees to build confidence in presenting to groups and be able to apply best practice techniques of preparation and delivery to future presentations.”

Places must be booked in advance and the course is £60 plus VAT or £30 plus VAT for Caradoc Medical Services suppliers.

Caradoc Medical Services is a buying consortium, initially set up to negotiate better buying terms for its sister company ShropDoc, that has grown substantially and now works with a range of businesses including osteopaths, dentists, therapists and care homes and provides training for all businesses, as well as products and services for its members.

To book a place on the course contact Elizabeth on (01743) 454900 or email elizabeth.martial@shropdoc.nhs.uk
