A hint of Easter at Shropshire hotel next month
05 Jul 2016

A hint of Easter will be in the air at a Shropshire hotel next month as it showcases its Spring wedding packages to the county’s brides and grooms to be.

Although Easter has long gone for most people the staff at The Wroxeter Hotel, based between Shrewsbury and Telford, have been thinking about eggs, chicks, bunnies and spring blossom colours!

The Spring package, with an optional Easter theme, will be on show as part of the Wroxeter Hotel Group open day on July 10 from 12noon to 4pm.

The Wroxeter Hotel runs weddings at two other country venues and all three will open their doors – The Wroxeter Hotel, Leighton Hall and Morrells Wood Farm.

Darryl Ann Brooks, of the wedding team, said: “As usual at the Wroxeter we will be showcasing as many of our packages as possible but with particular emphasis this time on Spring weddings.

“The Wroxeter Suite will be set up for our Sensational Spring package with a hint of Easter in the décor and the offer of a free Easter egg hunt in the grounds on the wedding day for new bookings received for weddings during the school Easter holidays!”

Also featuring on July 10 is the 2016 metallic trend. Metallics have been a big thing in weddings over the last year with golds and coppers really coming to the fore.

“We have a metallic theme in The Wrekin room for guests to have a look at – and we can incorporate the trend into the pre-wedding dinner package for guests joining our brides and grooms for dinner the night before their big day.

“Our Winter Extravaganza, Fabulous Fall and Vintage Venues packages, which are available at all three venues, will all be on show at the Wroxeter Hotel as well as our giant Kata tipis!

“With our latest addition we can now seat in excess of 100 guests in this alternative wedding space and our specially planted wildflower meadow in the woodland area will be in full bloom. It looks amazing!

“Weather permitting the Woodland Ceremony area will also be set up and we will be showcasing some of new rustic props which are available to hire.”

Guests will also be able to chat to Littlegemfx with all that sparkles – LED dancefloors, 5ft Letters, trees and more – Steve the DJ with his disco, room lighting and ‘Dancing on a Cloud’ dry ice first dance show and Casinut with their Black Jack tables.

Champagne and Roses will be showcasing bridal dresses at all three venues with Kingsmenswear making sure the men don’t miss out with their suit hire range.

Morrells Wood Farm will be set up for viewings including the newly licensed ceremony barn area.

And at nearby Leighton Hall the Ballroom will be dressed in the grandeur befitting the Georgian mansion. The grounds will also be open for guests to walk around and picture their perfect day.Wroxeter_Hotel_01
