We’re so excited about Shrewsbury’s Theatre Seven’s upcoming pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Usually you’d expect a couple of funny characters in a show but this time we’ve got all the seven dwarfs to entertain us.
The starring seven are Craig Garner as Cheeky, Brian Wheeler as Brian, George Appleby as Sniffly, Alice Lambert as Sarge, Craig Salisbury as Rocker, Ali Sarebani as Loopy and Dan Whatton as Groover.
Garner fell in love with acting as a young child when he saw his first pantomime and went on to study Performing Arts at Lincoln College.
He has appeared in many theatre shows as well as films. His credits include Harry Potter The Deathly Hallow, where he played Mini Harry and Snow White and the Huntsman, where he played Coll Double.
Wheeler started in the entertainment business answering an advert for people 4ft 6” and under for a film. The film was Star Wars – Return of the Jedi where he played an Ewok and a Jawa.
This was the start of many films including: The Never Ending Story; Hard Men; Dangerous Parking; Stag Night of the Dead where he played Mr Big; Phantom of the Opera and four Harry Potter films playing a Banker in Gringotts Bank and a supporter in Goblets of Fire.
He has been in over thirty productions of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs all over the country.
Appleby has appeared in three Harry Potter films and also played the lead role in the International award winning film Fanatic, shot in Spanish.
His television work includes: Shameless; Being Human; Teachers; The Big Breakfast and Life’s Too Short for the BBC.
Lambert has recently started out in acting and got her first break at the beginning of this year where she got the opportunity to work on a major Disney film for four months.
Salisbury appeared as a ‘Gringott’s Goblin’ in the box office blockbuster Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and the final Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
His television drama roles include appearances in Chronicles of Narnia, the acclaimed American drama, 10th Kingdom, Paradise Club, Phoenix Nights, Jonathan Creek, Hustle, Casualty, Little Britain, Psychoville, and Martina Cole’s Ladykillers.
Sarebani was born in Tehran, Iran and now lives in London. He most recently secured featured roles in two of the Disney’s Star Wars feature films.
Whatton started his theatrical career in 2002 at Derby Playhouse, playing the part of a Pimp in Pericles. started his theatrical career in 2002 at Derby Playhouse, playing the part of a Pimp in Pericles.
His credits include Little Britain (series two three); Spasticus; The Paul O’Grady Show; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part two; Life’s Too Short; Game of Thrones; Snow White and the Huntsman; John Bishop’s Rollercoaster Tour; Panto (ITV); Tom Thumb in An Bronntanas; Galway Film Fleadh and Love’s Labour’s Lost.
Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs is written by Telford-born Paul Hendy and produced by Evolution – the hugely successful creative team behind pantomimes at Theatre Severn since 2011.
Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs opens on Wednesday, November 29 and runs for 68 performances until Sunday, January 7.
