Bosses at a newly-refurbished restaurant in Telford say they have had a “fantastic start” – serving 2,000 people in their first weekend alone.
Four Corners World Buffet, in the Southwater complex, gives diners a spectacular choice of food from across four continents and recently underwent a revamp having taken over the site from Mimosa.
Their grand opening weekend in September saw the restaurant serve almost 2,000 people and they have gone from strength to strength after a hugely successful first few months.
Owner Sham Uddin said: “It’s been a fantastic start and we’ve welcomed hundreds of people through the doors which is great and we hope that it will continue.
“We have a wonderful and diverse range of traditional and continental food which should suit everyone’s tastes. The chefs work extremely hard each day to prepare and cook all the food to the highest standard.
“Even though we offer a great choice of food there may be times when people are looking for something a little different and unique. Our live cooking stations provide diners with the chance to customise a dish to their specific likes and tastes.”
The restaurant employs a large team of chefs who are each responsible for a specific section and region of food.
Head chef Raj Maurya said: “It’s a very busy place to work and we have to be well prepared all through the week. The busiest time is on a Friday night and across the weekend but we are seeing more people come in for lunch which is great.”
The Four Corners menu covers Chinese, Mexican, Italian and Indian which are some of the most popular styles food.
“When people are going out for a meal with friends and family it can be hard to decide what to eat in order to cater for everyone,” Mr Uddin said.
“Here we cover all the well known dishes that people love. So if you fancy Chinese but always wanted to try curry you can do so on the same night. If you have room that is.”
