It has been another busy month, with our team out and about across the UK…
Coming soon…
Kirsty’s professional highlight of the month was visiting a client in Anglesey and running a successful "lonely bouquet" PR stunt ahead of the hotel opening next month. Flowers, seaside and a pub! Perfect!
Rhea also enjoyed the trip to Anglesey, she found seeing the enthusiasm of the people about the opening of Victoria and answering all of their questions to be a real pleasure.
Back in the office, Freya R has really enjoyed working on content for a new business that has yet to open. It will be a big project for the team once it launches - keep your eyes peeled!
Getting involved
Dani had the pleasure of interviewing a 16-year-old apprentice called Herbie for our client Artisan Plastercraft. Dani found him to be very engaged and articulate during the interview and it made a great piece - an impressive youngster!
Sophie has had lots of lovely face-to-face meetings with clients this month and has really enjoyed getting out and brainstorming.
The budget may not have been many people's highlight of the month, but for Si it presented a great opportunity for media coverage; he was delighted to secure column inches for four of our clients in the regional and business press.
For Freya M, her professional highlight was the Shropshire Chamber Connectin Business Expo at Shrewsbury Town Football Club. It was wonderful seeing so many businesses together in one room and learning about what they do.
Out and about
Freya M’s personal highlight was going to Theatre Severn to watch The Rocky Horror Picture Show. She had never seen it before so it was great fun! There's no better way to finish the day than by going to The Olive Tree for some delicious tapas.
Dani also went on a trip of her own with a weekend in London seeing friends, family and sights! She took her kids to see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye and Buckingham Palace as well as the SEA LIFE London Aquarium. The little ones were very excited, almost as much as Dani was to meet all of her friends that weekend too.
Time for some relaxation
Inspired by last month’s team wellbeing day, Freya R planned her own wellness weekend. She did a workout, went cold water swimming, did some pottery painting and went to the beach!
Sophie has also been pampered in March, with a trip to Hoar Cross Hall with her stepmum. The trip was spent dipping in and out of various pools, doing lots of reading, eating amazing food, and enjoying some quality time together.
Proud parents!
Kirsty has enjoyed watching her boys thrive in their sport of rugby, with her youngest son and his team becoming Shropshire County Cup Champions. On the field, Si’s highlight was a cup quarter-final for his son's under-12 football team - it was a dramatic penalty shoot-out win after a battling 3-3 draw, and Si’s son saved two penalties! A definite proud Dad moment.
Rhea was pleased with her first secondary school parents' evening - for her son, not her! She heard about how well her eldest is doing, how enthusiastic he is about all of his subjects, and how much he is enjoying his journey… It was the highlight of her year so far!
And with that, it’s time to welcome April!
