This year’s panto Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs at The Place in Oakengates, Telford, was extra special as our boys knew some of their friends from school were performing.
With Jeremy Edwards from Hollyoaks and Holby City taking the starring role as the handsome Prince Edward and Nicole Faraday of ITV’s Bad Girls and Emmerdale as evil Queen Grizelda it was certainly a night of celebrity spotting.
But for the boys it was all about spotting their talented friends – and the result? Our four year old son now wants to be a dwarf in a panto next year! Dance and drama club here we come!
The youngsters on stage deserve a special mention – they work so hard, look so confident and their beaming smiles say it all. Pure talent which Telford should be very proud of.
Despite the efforts of her evil stepmother of course Snow White fell in love with her Prince and they all lived happily ever after – well i
Archie Smallman, aged 4, meets Snow White at The Place in Oakengates, Telford.
t just wouldn’t be right if they didn’t would it?
The panto was packed full of fun, jokes and mud pies (well ice cream cones!) with our sons aged four and six voting Dame Dolly and her son Muddles as their favourite characters.
The show included the traditional Snow White story with comedy, magic, dancing and singing – a fantastic family show for all.
So have you got your tickets booked? I’d be quick as with such talent on stage (local and national stars) there must be hundreds of family members snapping up the tickets.
As my parents couldn’t make the night we went it seems the children will be going again with them as we’ve bought them tickets as Christmas presents. Easy Christmas shopping whilst also making great family memories!
Tickets can be bought on-line http://theplacetelford.com/shows/pantomime-1718/snow-white or by calling the box office on 01952 382382.
