The Shropshire air will be filled with the sounds of one of the county’s top ceilidh bands as a new woodland area is officially opened at Wroxeter.
Traditional ceilidh entertainment band Wild Cedric will perform at The Wroxeter Hotel open evening tomorrow (September 17) when the gates open to showcase the brand new tipi and woodland area created at the site.
Wild Edric have more than 30 years experience providing the entertainment playing at weddings, birthdays, ceilidhs, village hall parties and more, and will be providing some traditional ceilidh tunes throughout the open evening.
Darryl Ann Brooks, of the Woodland Weddings team, said they are looking forward to showing off the new area.
She said: “Outdoor weddings have become increasingly popular with couples who wish to be a little different and step away from the more traditional way of celebrating their day.
“But we have spoken with many brides and grooms to be who would like the best of both worlds – an outdoor wedding that gives them their perfect and individual celebrations, but also access to toilets and enclosed areas.
“The new woodland area at The Wroxeter Hotel has been designed to meet the needs of everyone – those who want the full outdoor wedding and those that want the best of both.”
The woodland development team have brought in wood and worked at the site over the last few weeks to create the area. And flowers will be grown on site at The Wroxeter to create a wild-flower meadow that brides and grooms can walk through to their tipi ceremony.
The open evening will allow visitors to take a look inside the tipi in the grounds and to see and hear what a bespoke woodland ceremony could be like.
“We are looking forward to welcoming people to The Wroxeter as we are sure they will be surprised at what they find,” added Mrs Brooks.
“It is always a very impressive first look at the tipi and its surroundings.”
