A growing Shropshire PR agency has marked its third anniversary with a move to bigger premises.
J&PR Ltd, owned by directors Rhea Alton and Kirsty Smallman, expanded to a bigger office in the Glebe Centre in Wellington this month (January).
It is one of just a handful of businesses to be located in the centre, owned by Telford’s Council for Voluntary Service (CVS), with the remaining offices occupied by charities.
The PR company first moved to The Glebe two years ago but due to its rapid expansion Mrs Alton said it had become necessary to find larger premises.
She said: “The Glebe Centre has become our home from home over the last two years so we were delighted when three new offices were constructed within the building.
“It’s meant we have been able to move our growing team to a much larger office but remain in the same location.
“It has kept things extremely straightforward for us and all of our clients know exactly where to find us.
“We have literally moved across the corridor so have not had any downtime.
“The new office was up and running within a matter of hours, meaning account managers could remain focused on our clients.”
The company, which celebrates its third anniversary this month, now operates with a team of two directors, four account managers, a photographer and a business administration apprentice.
Mrs Smallman added: “2015 was a record year for the company in terms of turnover and saw lots of changes with the return of account manager Becci Dutton from maternity leave and the appointment of our new apprentice Paul Billington.
“We expect 2016 to show further growth with February already forecast to be a record breaking month as we plan for the event season including agricultural shows and key Shropshire events.
“We also have a number of new plans in the pipeline which will result in further growth for J&PR.
“We are particularly excited about some new services we will be launching later this year to help entrepreneurs and new startups grow their businesses.
“Our one-to-one mentoring sessions have become increasingly popular and have proved very successful for sole traders and small businesses.”
