As we begin to enter the colder months, the team have enjoyed reflecting on their September highlights, with a shared highlight among the team being our latest J&PR group outing.
Here are the team’s highlights...
Rhea’s personal highlight this month was helping to run a successful Eco fair at her children’s primary school as part of her role on the PTA - a role that she manages extremely well may we add...
At work, Rhea has been working on webinar creation and presenting for a client. Whilst many clients have the skills and information to share via webinars, they often do not have the skills (or the time) to create slide content and monitor the running of the webinars and the management of questions. She said it’s always a pleasure to assist!
Kirsty had a big job this month organising a surprise party for her parents’ 50th Wedding Anniversary with 50 of their beloved friends and family members. After such an awful period for so many, she said it was amazing to see everyone smiling and reuniting. She admits it brought a tear to her eye seeing her dad and his best man together - true friendship - and her mum with her family and friends too. Not to mention the special appearance of Montgomery Town Crier Sue Blower who read a very funny, yet emotional, proclamation!
Kirsty's professional highlight was the welcome return of a routine, with a ‘hybrid diary’ of virtual and face to face meetings (and cake!) now that her two children have gone back to school. She’s also enjoyed planning the next 12 months of business with Rhea. They make quite a team and she’s grateful for that every day.
Dani has had a lot of celebrating to do this month with her husband’s birthday, her brother’s 40th and her daughter's dedication, all falling within a couple of weeks of one another! Whilst she’s definitely had a busy month, she’s also had a lot of fun seeing her family and friends.
Professionally, Dani’s highlight has been having her first face to face client meeting - in the beautiful setting of the gorgeous Ellesmere College - in what feels like forever! This was followed by a great J&PR team outing on the Sabrina Boat where she really enjoyed seeing people in the flesh.
Dani wasn’t the only J&PR member to have enjoyed getting back together with the team. One of Tony’s highlights of the month was enjoying a team day out on the River Severn on a Sabrina Boat and hearing that the new J&PR offices will soon be ready for occupation!
He also saw his eldest grandchild, Mia, begin her secondary school journey. Where has the time gone? Congratulations Mia!
Freya had a busy couple of weeks, with most of her free time spent completing work on her new home, however she made sure to find the time to travel to Lancashire earlier this month to celebrate her grandparents Diamond Wedding Anniversary with them. Like Kirsty, she admitted that she felt quite emotional during the celebrations, especially after a card from The Queen arrived!
Her professional highlight has been having the opportunity to work with some different clients and learning more about the areas that they operate in. She said that one of her favourite aspects of working at J&PR is the variation she gets everyday working with clients from different industries.
Si’s personal highlight this month has been deciding to volunteer as a coach for his son’s junior football team. If you know Si then you’ll know that he loves helping his community and he’s already working on some genius tactics to help them win this season! Although it’s the taking part that counts, obviously…
Similarly to Dani and Tony, he’s also really enjoyed spending some time with the J&PR team on Sabrina in Shrewsbury. We are always so busy servicing our clients, it's really important to take a bit of time out to catch up as a team and hear how everyone is getting on!
Becci’s personal highlight was moving to a new home that has lots of space for her boys to play. We can’t wait to see all the pictures when we get back into the office.
From a professional point of view, Becci has really been enjoying meeting and getting to know some new clients, Ioan Said Photography and Lovely Booths, and getting to work on their social media schedules.
