Hundreds of job seekers from students to managers are set to turn out at a top Shropshire hotel recruitment evening as bosses prepare for the busy wedding and tourism season.
The Best Western Valley Hotel in Ironbridge is looking to fill a number of roles and bosses hope the event, which runs from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday July 7, will attract prospective candidates who wish to find out more about the business.
The vacancies to fill include a full time food and beverage manager, part-time breakfast chef and two part-time receptionist roles – one split between midweek and weekends and one solely weekends, bar and waiting on staff aged 16 and over and evening and weekend kitchen porters.
The hotel itself is a Georgian listed building with 44 bedrooms situated by the river, with 2 AA rosettes for culinary excellence, which hosts many events including weddings, christenings and conferences and is a leading hotel in the World Heritage Site attracting thousands of people throughout the summer season.
