Two members of staff at a family-run pharmacy in Shropshire are celebrating after clocking up 40 years of service between them.
Both Mandy Price, 49, and Mary Lewis, 58, are marking 20 years at Lunts Pharmacies in Craven Arms.
And, across all four of its pharmacy sites in Shropshire, Lunts staff are celebrating a combined service of almost 200 years.
Mrs Lewis, a registered dispensary technician, said: “My time here at Lunts has absolutely flown by. I found the job by chance 20 years ago when I was walking passed and saw the advert in the window.
“The timing was perfect as I had just been made redundant from my job. I remember being very nervous about applying for it but it has all worked out well.”
Mrs Price, who is also a registered dispensing technician, added: “Lunts is a great company to work for. I cannot imagine working for anyone else. All the staff get on really well, we are just like one big family really.”
Pharmacy counter assistant Michelle Pugh has also worked at the Craven Arms site for 13 years whilst pharmacist Margaret Clement has worked part time in the pharmacy for eight years.
Elsewhere across the company Nicky Pearson, the dispensing technician at the Pontesbury pharmacy, has worked at the premises for 35 years, since she was just 14-years-old.
She was taken on as an apprentice by the pharmacy’s former owners and then transferred to Lunts Pharmacies when it was brought by managing director Martin Lunt in 1998.
She works alongside pharmacist Jan McDermott, who also began working at the pharmacy in 1998.
Mrs Pearson said: “I absolutely love my job. I love all my customers and cannot think what else I would rather be doing.”
Meanwhile, pharmacy technician Lauren Wagstaff, based at the Hereford Road Pharmacy in Shrewsbury, is celebrating 10 years of service and Jill Kelly, also pharmacy technician, has worked for Lunt for almost 15 years.
At the Roushill pharmacy, also in Shrewsbury, staff have also clocked up in excess of 40 years service between them.
Lunts Pharmacies was established in 1968 and employs 40 members of staff in total across its four sites.
Mr Lunt said: “As a company we are extremely honoured to employ such dedicated and hard-working team. There are not many businesses in the county whose staff have clocked up almost 200 years service between them.
“We are extremely proud and thank each and every one of them for their continued hard work and support.”
