We love going to the panto! Kirsty went to Theatre Severn and here's what she thought of it...
Oh yes we did! Of course we went to the panto at Theatre Severn! And of course it was brilliant - I know each year I say it was the best yet but Evolution Productions and the legendary dame Brad Fitt and the team just keep on giving!
Beauty and the Beast gave us the laughs, the West End standard dancing and singing and the warm, feel good factor through the traditional story.
The gents were sweating in their seats during the first few minutes - even those in the upper circle couldn’t escape this year! I won’t give any more away but just remember it could be you!
The boys knew they recognised Tommy J Rollason who was playing the brilliantly funny panto comic Phillipe Fillop and whilst meeting the cast afterwards they realised he was their favourite unicycle performer on Britain’s Got Talent.
We couldn’t believe there were only 12 cast members (Eric Smith you were missed!) in total.
It really wouldn’t be Christmas for us as a family without watching “the Shrewsbury panto” and it wouldn’t be “the Shrewsbury panto” without Brad on stage as the best dame in the country - no I haven’t witnessed many more but we all know he is!
I’m not going to share any spoilers in here but simply say if you haven’t booked then get the last few tickets left - there are a few seats together from January 3rd so why not fill that post Christmas period with some more laughter with family and friends.
