We know it’s a cliche but at J&PR, we really do love the work we do.
Our clients are very varied from hotels to shops to computer firms, accountants, lawyers and festivals.
We enjoy working with every single one of them and getting the news out there about what they do.
We celebrate all our client’s achievements with them and especially love it when they are recognised for the fantastic work they do and the service they provide for their customers.
They certainly make our jobs easy as we never have to look far for exciting news stories about the hard work our clients get up to.
Recently, Lunts Pharmacy, which has two stores in Shrewsbury as well as others in Pontesbury and Craven Arms, celebrated its golden wedding anniversary with its customers. Fifty years in business is a big achievement and one that definitely deserves recognition.
Ascendancy Internet Marketing, based in Shifnal, has just won a place in the finals for the Premier Partner Awards, presented by Google Partners, and is one of 25 companies from across Europe who are in line for the Growing Businesses Online award. We were thrilled when Ellesmere College was recently presented with the Education Business Award for Music 2018 at a glittering ceremony in London.
The college beat off four other finalists to be handed the School Music Award. It made a great press release for the college and one we were delighted to tell everyone about on the college’s behalf.
The Wroxeter Hotel in Shrewsbury was recently named as a finalist in the Best Wedding Venue category in the Matrimony Awards 2019. We were thrilled to see all the staff’s hard work recognised.
This year saw double delight for David Dexters, an independent car garage, who won the Best Small Business and Outstanding Customer Service categories at the Shropshire Business Awards.
Their success came as no surprise to us – the staff even put wine or flowers in cars when their new owners come to pick them up and get the paper for a regular customer when his vehicle is being serviced.
Obviously good news is not just about awards. We love telling our client’s stories about their fantastic successes, work in the community or new products.
Recently, we were happy to write about the new business group launched in Ironbridge to help conserve the historic buildings and monuments in the care of the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust.
The new networking group will meet at different venues every two months to showcase the iconic historic buildings in the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site.
Our client Lanyon Bowdler was recently appointed to the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) legal panel for a third time in succession.
We are delighted for the firm as it strengthen their position as agricultural law specialists and will last for a period of three years.
At J&PR, we aim to celebrate all our client’s achievements, successes and love to shout about them to everyone we can!
Thank you to all our clients for putting their news in our hands.
