Yes it’s that time of year again – panto time!
And who doesn’t love a good pantomime!

This year’s production of the fairy-tale classic Cinderella at Theatre Severn already looks set to be another huge hit.

And you may have seen these characters wandering around Shrewsbury with rehearsals now well underway before the opening night on November 30.

The show will see Brad Fitt return to Shrewsbury’s stage in the role of Buttons, Cinderella’s friend and her father’s servant.

Brad also directs the show and will appear alongside BBC Radio Shropshire’s Eric Smith, who returns for the 14th year in a row, as Baron-Hard-Up.

This year there will be a total of 66 performances so there’s no excuse not to buy tickets. The pantomime is always Theatre Severn’s most successful show of the year. Last year’s show was almost a complete sell-out and was seen by more than 38,000 people so early booking is a necessity.

The show, written by Paul Hendy and produced by Evolution, promises to tick all the pantomime boxes with magic, mayhem, comedy, singing, dancing, stunning sets and special effects.

And we cannot wait to see it.
