Audiences are set to Shout about the latest singer to announce she’s making her way to Shropshire as part of her biggest ever UK tour.
Lulu is one of the latest in a line-up of top stars set to perform in Shrewsbury, a town now attracting big names and making its mark in the entertainment world.
And it’s easy to see why, not only is the beautiful location full of eateries and bars, there’s a new Premier Inn close to the railway station and theatre so making a weekend of it is now even easier.
A quick search on Theatre Severn’s website reveals a whole host of singers and entertainers set to grace the stage during 2017, including the Scottish songstress famous for her rendition of To Sir With Love, winning the Eurovision Song Contest with Boom Bang-a-Bang and of course her hit song Shout.
The All About The Music tour takes in 39 dates across the UK and comes to Shrewsbury on Wednesday, October 25, where audiences will get the chance to hear all the hits from a career which is still going strong after 50 years.
Lulu took a backseat on the live scene for nearly a decade but in 2015 she released Making Life Rhyme, her most critically acclaimed album so far, which led to sell out tours both that year and last.
She said: “I absolutely love playing live and can’t wait to be out on the road again in autumn this year.
“My life has always been all about the music, so come and join me again or for the first time and let’s have a great night of music.”
Priority booking opens to Friends of Theatre Severn from 10am tomorrow (Wednesday, February 15) with tickets on general sale from 10am on Friday (February 17).
