It’s been a rather glum start to the year, but team J&PR have been up to all sports in the first few weeks of 2025…
Marketing strategy and celebrations
Rhea’s professional highlight was a marketing strategy day with client EPX Technical Services, it is an exciting year for the company, and we are really pleased to be part of their journey as they help businesses to scale and thrive!
Similarly, Sophie has enjoyed planning the next 12-months for her clients!
Simon enjoyed attending a special evening to celebrate a year of achievements for Shrewsbury, hosted by Shrewsbury BID and Shrewsbury Town Council.
Tony’s work highlight was working on some press for the The Hundred House at Norton which won a national award for Weddings Team of the Year - to go alongside all the other awards they have won in recent years.
Friends and family
Dani’s personal highlight was going to Ireland for a weekend with her friends, which was a surprise for one of them! This goes hand in hand with work starting on Dani’s kitchen/diner renovations which are very messy and exciting - she says it is equally a highlight that it started while she was out of the house for a weekend!
Rhea’s personal highlight was a trip to Newquay for her son’s 14th birthday - rugby on the beach, card games in front of the pub fire and some lovely seafood all made for a fantastic weekend at the end of January.
Sophie headed to London to visit her best friend for the weekend and had an amazing time. 22,000 steps in one day, wandering around the city and having a much-needed catch up - just what the doctor ordered! They also went to an improv comedy show and laughed enough to see them through until their next visit.
Making a difference
Dani’s professional highlight was helping a mother of two campaign for change to the benefit system for those being treated for cancer. This story got national coverage and a green paper is now expected in spring, partly influenced by her.
Sports and tax!
Tony’s personal highlight for January was very exciting - a tax rebate….always going to be a highlight that one!
Simon’s personal highlight is of course about football - he and his sons went to watch Nottingham Forest play in the FA cup. Although one of the coldest football matches they have been to, a hot cup of Bovril saved the day!
