A Shropshire IT firm is helping to support young, budding entrepreneurs from across the region.
Network Support Solutions, based at Shrewsbury Business Park, has become the latest business to back the 2016 Shropshire Young Enterprise awards by sponsoring an award.
Hundreds of people are expected to gather at the Park Inn Hotel in Telford for the awards ceremony on May 5 where young people across the county will be rewarded for their achievements.
Sponsoring the Best Use of ICT award Katy Jones, managing director of Network Support Solutions, said: “We are delighted to be involved with this year’s Shropshire Young Enterprise awards.
“There are so many talented youngsters in Shropshire and the Young Enterprise programme is a fantastic way for them to develop new skills and strengthen existing ones.
“The programme plays a really important role in educating the next generation of business leaders and we are really looking forward to the ceremony.
“We are thrilled to be sponsoring the Best Use of ICT award. Advancements in technology means ICT is a critical and crucial part of any business today and it will be interesting to see the different ways in which youngsters have been using ICT to develop their enterprise ideas.”
The awards, will be attended by young people from across the county aged 15 to 19, along with hundreds of specially invited guests.

This year, the regional Young Enterprise awards are also being held in Shropshire for the first time on June 21, at Shrewsbury FC Greenhouse stadium, sponsored by the Federation of Small Businesses.
Ms Jones, who is also a patron of Shropshire Chamber of Commerce, has been successfully running NSS for the past 18 years with business partner Paul Coulthard-Jones.
