An online silent auction to raise funds to conserve the future of Ironbridge’s heritage buildings is now live.
The auction has been launched as part of the Ironbridge by Moonlight dinner being held at Enginuity on Thursday (24th October 2019).
Hundreds of guests will be dining in the shadow of the Museum of the Moon exhibition, measuring seven metres in diameter, the moon features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface.
The aim of the night is to raise much-needed cash towards the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust’s £1m fundraising target – needed by 2021 to take advantage of match-funding the National Lottery Heritage Fund to secure the heritage of Ironbridge for future generations.
The auction is now online for supporters of the fund that not able to attend Ironbridge by Moonlight. The silent auction page will close at 10am on Thursday 24th October and will reopen for guests attending the event.

Every pound raised by Fund for the Future will be match-funded up to a maximum £1m by a grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund through money raised by people playing the National Lottery.
The Fund for the Future money will be used for specialist work to maintain some of the key buildings within the Ironbridge area, including Darby’s Old Furnace, the Quaker Burial Ground and Coalbrookdale Company’s Warehouses.
