A range of courses to enhance business development and increase employee skills and knowledge are on offer for Shropshire organisations.
Run by Caradoc Medical Services the training sessions will take place at the conference centre in Longbow Close, Shrewsbury.
Among the courses available are basic, intermediate and advanced Powerpoint, Word and Excel training, project management, problem solving and decision making, coaching skills and fire warden and CPR and defib training.
Elizabeth Martial, business and marketing executive at Caradoc Medical Services, said: “We have a great selection of courses starting in September.
“While some are aimed towards the medical profession, many are suitable for all types of businesses. We’re particularly pleased to be able to offer IT training on Microsoft Office programmes that many of us use everyday – these courses look to provide training, tips and techniques to help get tasks done quicker and easier.
“As Caradoc is not-for-profit organisation, we’re able to offer courses at competitive prices helping to provide opportunity for local businesses to support and develop their staff.”
Caradoc Medical Services is a buying consortium initially set up to negotiate better buying terms for Shropdoc and local GP practices.
It has since expanded into a national buying consortium with more than 25,000 members and supplies training and events to businesses across the board.
The majority of consortium members are from GP practices and out-of-hours organisations, but our membership continues to grow in other areas and now includes dentists, pharmacies, care homes, therapists, osteopaths and a range of Small Medium Enterprises.
