Richard Partington, managing director, will be the guest speaker at the meeting on November 10 at 6pm at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Newport.

He said:  “I am looking forward to being the guest speaker at Telford Business Club and would like to thank them for their invitation.

“I will be talking about the council’s current challenges and issues we face going forward, as well as the many opportunities we have including inward investment opportunities.”

Margaret Rowe of FBC Manby Bowdler will be the member guest speaker at the event.

Kirsty Smallman, Telford Business Club chairwoman, said  members were very much looking forward to the meeting.

She said: “We are delighted that Richard Partington is able to attend the meeting to speak to members.

“This is a great chance for people to come along and find out about all the great plans for our community.

“They will be able to hear about what opportunities lie ahead and what it means for businesses in the town.

“This is a fantastic time to be a business in Telford with so much investment and development taking place,” she said.
