Members of Telford Business Club will be able to hear directly from Telford and Wrekin Council’s top chief at this month’s meeting.
Richard Partington, managing director, will be the guest speaker at the meeting on November 10 at 6pm at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Newport.
He said: “I am looking forward to being the guest speaker at Telford Business Club and would like to thank them for their invitation.
“I will be talking about the council’s current challenges and issues we face going forward, as well as the many opportunities we have including inward investment opportunities.”
Margaret Rowe of FBC Manby Bowdler will be the member guest speaker at the event.
Kirsty Smallman, Telford Business Club chairwoman, said members were very much looking forward to the meeting.
She said: “We are delighted that Richard Partington is able to attend the meeting to speak to members.
“This is a great chance for people to come along and find out about all the great plans for our community.
“They will be able to hear about what opportunities lie ahead and what it means for businesses in the town.

The cost to join the Telford Business Club is £150 a year, which includes a hot meal at every meeting on the second Tuesday of the month.
Visitors can attend at a cost of £15 per meeting. All places have to be booked in advance due to catering.
Telford Business Club does not charge an additional monthly fee and does not request people to send a substitute.
