We are familiar faces on the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce training calendar and we love every minute of sharing our knowledge and expertise.

Last month was our full day PR and social media course and recently Kirsty hosted our first half-day blogging for business course. It went down a treat!

Here’s what our delegates had to say today:

Martin James, Greenhous, said: “It has given my skill base an additional aspect. I will be discussing the need to have a ‘blog’ button on our new website.

“I need to discriminate between press release news and more personalised stories which blogging will allow me to do. Great morning. Thank you.”

Melissa Hardy, Security Services said: “I like how Kirsty uses examples to make things understandable. She gives me confidence to blog and hopefully do it well! Great tips and free tools to use. Thank you.”

Joanne Phillips, The Hundred House, said: “Kirsty was a fabulous trainer as in the other courses I’ve attended with her.

“If the course could be improved I would like a full day version where you actually write a blog during the afternoon session so to make a blog active and smooth out any technical questions like ‘why is my picture sitting there when I want it to sit here?!

“Overall very helpful and inspiring. Thank you.”

(Jo – watch this space – we hope you are dreaming about your keywords and optimisation!)

All three delegates marked the course as “Excellent” in every category and for each individual criteria too – we call that a clean sweep!

So you missed out on this one but when can you join one of our training courses next?

We’re doing our PR and social media course in Oswestry on April 4th – collaborating with the lovely Gina from Gina.Design who will add some awesome creativity into your brand!

You can find out more about the course here or book your place for just £99 + VAT here

If you can’t join us on April 4th then drop us an email to Kirsty@jandpr.com to tell us when and where you would like a course and we will try our best to come to you very soon!

Or why not book onto one of our one-to-one mentoring sessions held at our offices at The Glebe in Wellington where we can work on your PR strategy and get that PR plan drafted and get that press release written and distributed; draft your social media schedule for the month; create some social media images; start blogging or create your first e-newsletter? Two of the most productive hours of your working week with the expert in the specific field of choice for just £149 + VAT. Prepare yourself to be exhausted!

If you are a Shropshire Chamber of Commerce member then use your membership credits to join our courses for free at Chamber HQ on Stafford Park in Telford.

The next blogging for business courses are on July 3rd and November 14th and the next PR and social media management courses are on June 18th and October 23rd.

If you want to know what our course attendees thought about last month’s PR and social media course then here we go.

Laura Partridge, Hencote

“Learning more about press releases was very helpful along with tips for social media marketing and engagement. Using the plans will be great for time management and vary content.”

Kate Southan, Westbury Environmental

“Kirsty was really engaging and it’s obvious how enthusiastic she is, so it was easy to learn and pick up some tips.”

Clive Jones, Copy-Write

“Learning the current social media formats that are trending, learning more about PR, blogs and how they work within social media.”

Melissa Hardy, Security Services

“I feel I now have a plan when I get back, rather than having a head in the hands moment! This has got to be a good thing – feel so much more confident. Thank you, Kirsty.”

Emma Cross, Hatchers

“Extremely helpful course. Covered all the main areas of digital PR from a beginner’s point of view. Lots to work on but looking forward to using everything I’ve learnt today.”

Alex Ashton, Fabweld Steel Products

“Learning how to structure plan. This can be applied to other parts of my role at FSP and I can see it being of great benefit in achieving our objectives.”

And if this isn’t enough there’s more course testimonials here too! Hope to see you on a course soon!
