Two independent Shropshire businesses have teamed up ahead of the unveiling of a new development at an award winning country park.
Plans to include twelve luxury lodges within the exclusive new development were finalised at The Retreat at Ashlea Pools Country Park in Hoptonheath, Craven Arms as bosses at Alan Ward in Shrewsbury were approached to furnish the first completed lodge.
The contract saw Jane Edmunds, personal shopper from Alan Ward, give her expert advice on the furniture and interior decor for the planned lodges that are available to purchase as holiday homes.
As well as advising on the three interior design looks that have been co-ordinated for the project, Jane will also be assisting buyers as part of an exclusive shopping experience at the Alan Ward store in Harlescott Shrewsbury, should the buyer prefer a bespoke look to their new luxury home.
Owners of Ashlea Pools Country Park, Lee and Leigh Burdon said they could not wait to unveil the new show lodge at their open day on April 2nd.
People looking to buy a second home in the country will be able to choose off plan with the three different lodges offering a contemporary, country or classic look.
Ceri Vaughan-Jones, marketing manager at Ashlea Pools, said: “We have been overwhelmed by Alan Ward’s level of expertise, advice and service.
“Jane Edmunds created three mood boards for the three looks we wanted for the new lodges and she grasped the design concept of what we wanted perfectly.
“It means owners of the new lodges will be able to order a lodge to be built with the same furnishings as the show lodge or opt to have a £10,000 voucher to spend in store.
“Jane and her team at Alan Ward has done a fabulous job and we cannot wait to show the Show lodge off on April 2nd.”
Carl Johnson, managing director at Alan Ward said: “We were extremely pleased to be approached by Ashlea Pools – a like-minded family owned independent business.
“We are looking forward to helping buyers to furnish their own lodge very soon.”
Jane Edmunds, personal shopper at Alan Ward added: “Lee and Leigh have been wonderful to work with and their drive and ambition to create the right look was clear from the outset.
“We wish them every success with the new lodges and look forward to helping buyers create their own look for their new home.”
Ashlea Pools Country Park has won the David Bellamy Conservation Award and offers families an idyllic setting to spend quality family time.
Mr and Mrs Burdon hope to attract people who want to invest in their future by buying a second family home and enjoy the fresh air and the peace and beauty of the Shropshire countryside. Lodge prices at The Retreat at Ashlea Pools start at £175,000.
