Elvis fans are in for a treat next week at Shrewsbury’s Theatre Severn.

Lee Memphis King will recreate the essence of the King on June 20 at 7.30pm, accompanied by an orchestra of world class musicians and backing vocalists.

The show will also include video screen projection mapping out Elvis’s life and music.

Over the last 10 years, Lee has toured his One Night of Elvis show and has picked up numerous accolades, headlining and selling out some of the most prestigious venues across the UK and beyond. In August 2016, he completed a sell out concert tour of Israel, performing to more than 8,000 fans.

In his latest production, Lee Memphis King portrays Elvis Presley at his peak, celebrating the iconic ‘Vegas Years’ from 1969 – 1977.

Elvis would perform in Las Vegas and tour throughout the US and Canada – the definitive record of these performances are contained in the films Elvis- That’s the Way It Is, Elvis On Tour and the Aloha from Hawaii concert.

To buy tickets, which cost between £24 and £26.50, see the Theatre Severn website at www.theatresevern.co.uk/shows/whatson/one-night-of-elvis or call the box office on 01743 28128.
