The brief

Launching a new branch of the business, SWG Construction knew they needed a PR firm with extensive knowledge and media relations in the county where they were due to open.

Despite only being 30 miles from their current base and across the border into England, they knew they needed a strong presence in their new area.

The solution

The aim was to steadily increase the awareness of the brand within the local media and business community, through a mix of traditional PR and social media management.

Content focused on case studies to showcase the company’s existing fantastic work, blogs to give professional opinion, and advice articles to demonstrate their first-rate knowledge of the industry.

It was important the existing presence in Wales was enhanced so their target audience knew it was an expansion into Shropshire rather than a move.

The firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility was previously under the radar and deserved to be celebrated - from community centre revamps to fundraising drives - the community now knew how much SWG gave back.

The impact

The client has built a network of strong relationships and contacts in the Shropshire and surrounding areas. Enquiries have been coming in from new contacts, and more importantly from people who did not know about SWG Group previously.

Development work has started across the region and social media statistics increase week-on-week.

Coverage in regional media is consistent, along with new content created and uploaded on their website before being shared across their social media platforms.

J&PR has become the extra arm of the business SWG Group needed to expand the firm.
