J&PR was the provider of the PR strategy for Telford’s Take Pride In Your High Street campaign. From the launch of the campaign, the successful case studies, press invites and conferences to the high street training for retailers – J&PR led the way.

Promoting the buying consortium and new arms of the business to new target markets such as dental and veterinary across the UK, J&PR work both remotely and in-house to ensure the small team at Caradoc are at the forefront of manager’s minds at GPs, vets, Osteopaths and more.

As Shropdoc continues to win top awards but at the same time also faces staff redundancies and difficult times in the industry, J&PR successfully manages all aspects of the PR strategy to ensure the target market is well informed. Seasonal campaigns are also created such as Christmas when out of hours cover is vital.

When struggling with recruitment, Marston’s Group called in J&PR to support the internal communications team as an in-house role for three days a week.

Using various in-house platforms, J&PR ensured the style guide was followed meticulously and the huge backlog of work was completed efficiently which in turn resulted in a continued working relationship following successful in-house recruitment.

When the head of communications at Severn Hospice left ahead of the busiest time of year, Severn Hospice knew who to call! J&PR seamlessly continued with the PR strategy already created including press calls, press releases, blogs, event management and social media posts.

A national brand in security products manufactured in Much Wenlock, managing directors realised their products had moved on from the very first stabiliser produced in the 1970s but the company marketing strategy had been somewhat left behind.

J&PR carried out a full social media overview, organised photography and aerial video footage of the site and a start to finish video of their Shropshire made award-winning products – and that was before they even started on the PR strategy.

When their attention turned to digital PR and we were only too willing to help drive their business forward. We took over their social media channels and created a detailed plan and schedule along with a blog plan which focussed on a number of key areas of the business.

We have also provided guidance on developing a range motoring how-to videos and also event management, as seen at last year when the Bridgnorth Sinfonia performed in their large technician area.

The vision was to make The Wroxeter and the latest venues under Shropshire Farm Weddings, the top wedding and function venues in the region.

With a PR strategy including a Harry Potter wedding which attracted international coverage and sent the US media into meltdown and a press call for journalists to watch the cows being moved out of their sheds for the wedding season attracting broadcast media – there’s never a dull day at Wroxeter.

After securing the PR contract three years ago after a recommendation from the NFU to Staffordshire County Show, J&PR introduced show chiefs to the social world and this year led successful social media competitions and created extensive print, on-line and broadcast campaigns, resulting in a record breaking crowd of 75,000 over two days.

Shropshire County Show is also a long standing client where J&PR not only run the pre and post show PR strategy and run the social media platforms on the day but also organise the Kids Zone from start to finish and man it on the day too! One hat is never good enough for J&PR!

The leading law firm in the region, Lanyon Bowdler secured J&PR to run the PR campaign and re-write all of the website copy. Working alongside the in-house marketing manager and the business development consultant, J&PR has successfully secured tens of thousands of pounds of press coverage.

One of J&PR’s original clients, ABC Day Nursery managing director approached J&PR for help in securing commercial premises for a new nursery. Facing a deadline to move out of the current premises, J&PR launched a campaign which resulted in planning permission being granted in the grounds of Hoo Farm, a successful pre-opening PR campaign resulting in hundreds of enquiries and now the Ofsted Outstanding nursery boasts a 12 month waiting list.

Independently owned (not a franchise!) – owners of National Windscreens in Telford, Oswestry and Wolverhampton approached J&PR for a regional PR campaign. Working alongside the national PR company for the group, J&PR’s campaign has been so successful the owners have recently opened a fourth branch in Bangor, North Wales.
